Strategy shareholders approved a Daily Dividends amendment on October 28 with 99.3% of votes in favor, according to Executive Chairman Michael Saylor. The change allows four preferred stocks, STRF, STRC, STRK and STRD, to accrue dividends every calendar day, including weekends and holidays, though payments occur on the next business day.

Strategy stated the amendment "would reduce reinvestment lag, enhance liquidity and market efficiency, and increase price stability." The company argued the change benefits common stockholders by making its Digital Credit instruments easier to use and fund while supporting its Bitcoin Treasury strategy.

Dividend rates and total obligations remain unchanged under the structure. STRC carries a variable rate set at 11.50% for the month ended June 30, 2026. The company previously moved STRC to semi-monthly payments in June.

If the board approves and required filings complete, STRC record and payment dates would fall on November 1 and 2, 2026. STRF, STRK and STRD would have record and payment dates on January 1 and 4, 2027, pending operational readiness.

Strategy holds 848,517 BTC acquired for $64.02 billion at an average price of $75,446 per Bitcoin. The company slowed bitcoin purchases this year and sold some holdings to fund preferred dividends and interest payments. MSTR common stock is down 50% over the past year but has risen roughly 1,000% since Strategy began buying bitcoin in 2020.
